Energy commodity sourcing and trading

ROXAY Trading sources and trades energy commodities — principally LNG, LPG and natural gas, alongside other energy and hydrocarbon products — for importers, utilities and industrial consumers.

Energy that moves markets.

Energy trading operates at scale. It requires precision in specification, volume, timing and delivery.

Energy is the first of ROXAY Trading’s three commodity categories. It covers LNG, LPG and natural gas as the core products, together with other energy and hydrocarbon products assessed case by case.

Energy buying is rarely a single decision. It is a sequence of them — specification, delivery structure, timing, discharge point, and whether the requirement is one cargo or a standing need. ROXAY’s role sits across that whole sequence rather than at one point in it.

What sits in this category

Three products carry the category:

  • LNG — liquefied natural gas for importers, utilities and industrial consumers in markets that receive gas by sea rather than by pipeline.
  • LPG — propane, butane and their mixes, for importers, distributors and industrial consumers.
  • Natural gas — gas supplied in its pipeline form or as part of a wider energy requirement.

Beyond these, ROXAY assesses enquiries for other energy and hydrocarbon products. The portfolio is not fixed; it moves with global demand and with what can realistically be sourced at the time of the enquiry.

Why energy sourcing is different

Energy trades carry constraints that metals and polymers usually do not.

Receiving infrastructure decides what is even possible: a market without a regasification terminal cannot take LNG regardless of price or availability. Delivery windows are tighter, because storage is expensive and, for gas, physically limited. Contract structures tend to be longer and more heavily negotiated, since both sides are managing exposure over months rather than weeks.

The practical consequence for a buyer is that the sourcing conversation has to start earlier than it does for a bagged or containerised commodity. An enquiry that arrives with the discharge point and the delivery window already defined can be qualified far faster than one that does not.

How ROXAY approaches energy enquiries

Every enquiry is qualified against three things before any commercial commitment is made: whether supply matching the specification is genuinely available, whether the destination can physically receive it, and whether the delivery structure works for both counterparties.

Where those three align, ROXAY structures the commercial terms, coordinates the contract process and organises the delivery sequence. Where they do not, we say so — a qualified “no” is more useful to a procurement team than an offer that cannot be honoured.

We do not publish origin countries, suppliers or trade routes for energy cargoes. That information stays inside the commercial relationship.

Products

LNG

ROXAY Trading sources and trades liquefied natural gas (LNG) for importers, power utilities and industrial consumers in markets that receive gas by sea.

LPG

ROXAY Trading sources and trades liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) — propane, butane and their mixes — for importers, distributors and industrial consumers.

Natural Gas

ROXAY Trading sources and trades natural gas for industrial consumers, power generators and importers, alongside LNG and other energy and hydrocarbon products.

Questions buyers ask

Which energy commodities does ROXAY Trading handle?

ROXAY Trading works principally with LNG, LPG and natural gas, and assesses enquiries for other energy and hydrocarbon products depending on supply availability and market conditions.

Does ROXAY supply energy commodities on a spot or term basis?

Both structures are possible. The workable arrangement depends on the product, the destination market and whether the buyer needs a single cargo or continuous supply; the structure is agreed per transaction rather than fixed in advance.

Who buys energy commodities through ROXAY Trading?

Typical buyers are importers, power and utility companies, industrial consumers with continuous fuel or feedstock requirements, distributors and commodity traders operating in import-dependent markets.
